Select MS Ltd has been contracted to carry out the works to the external fabric of this development in the sought-after area of Murrayfield, Edinburgh. The scope of works includes the installation of 100mm stone ashlar and facing brickwork, delivered with a strong focus on quality, precision, and craftsmanship to complement the prestige of the location

At Kirkliston House, five stone chimneys had been replaced with concrete blocks, detracting from the character of the property. Our role was to carefully dismantle these later additions and rebuild each chimney in Peakmoor sandstone, hand-dressed to match the original detailing and proportions.  The result is a true return to traditional craftsmanship, the rebuilt chimneys now look and feel as they were originally intended, restoring the architectural character and quality that had been lost while ensuring long-term durability

This project presented significant logistical challenges due to busy surrounding roads and limited space for manoeuvring. Despite these constraints, we successfully completed the external façade cladding works for the client on time and within the agreed budget

We were appointed to deliver both the brickwork and pre-cast stone packages on this project, providing a fully coordinated masonry solution. Our team worked closely with the client to ensure the materials, detailing, and finishes met the design intent and programme requirements. The works were completed to a high standard of craftsmanship, resulting in a high-quality finish with which the client was extremely pleased.
