Stone Supply

Choosing the correct stone for your project requires an experienced contractor, as there are many critical factors to consider. These include structural requirements such as load-bearing capacity, environmental conditions and weather resistance, aesthetic considerations including colour and texture, and practical aspects such as cost, maintenance, and planning consent. Careful evaluation of each of these elements ensures the selected stone is both suitable for its purpose and aligned with the overall project objectives

Stone Repair

Working alongside Masons Mortar, Select MS Ltd carefully matches the existing stone to the surrounding area requiring repair. Our experienced masons cut back all loose, damaged, or decayed material before applying specialist stone repair mortar. The repair is then expertly hand-crafted to replicate the original profile, texture, and finish, ensuring a durable solution that seamlessly blends with the existing masonry

Rubble Walling

We have a specialist team of masons dedicated exclusively to our rubble stone projects. Highly experienced across all styles, they are skilled in random rubble, coursed rubble, and square and sneck masonry. Their in-depth knowledge of traditional construction methods, attention to detail, and understanding of local stone allow them to deliver structurally sound, visually authentic work that complements its surroundings. This focused expertise ensures each rubble project is completed with consistency, durability, and a high standard of craftsmanship

Extensions & New Builds

Need more space? Our experienced team can manage your extension from start to finish, delivering high-quality additional space that integrates seamlessly with your existing home. From foundations through to the finished masonry, we focus on structural integrity, material matching, and attention to detail to ensure the new extension complements the character, style, and long-term performance of the original building

Pointing Specialists

When matching lime pointing to a specific building there are many items to consider for example the original mortar's colour and texture, primarily from its sand/aggregate, aiming for material compatibility with the substrate, using a weaker mix than the masonry, and ensuring proper joint profile and pointing style to match the building's character

Brickwork

Our skilled bricklayers are primarily based on regional contractor sites, where they carry out a wide range of blockwork and brickwork activities. This includes the installation of Halfen channel fixings, fire socks, insulation, cavity trays, and damp-proof courses (DPCs). All works are completed in accordance with specifications and best practice, with workmanship regularly quality audited to ensure consistent standards, compliance, and long-term performance

Stone Design

We work closely alongside architects from concept through to completion, ensuring each stone solution aligns with the design intent, technical requirements, and practical realities of the project. By collaborating early, we can advise on material selection, detailing, buildability, and long-term performance, helping to refine ideas into durable, well-crafted outcomes. Blockwork

We provide a complete blockwork service, constructing from foundation level through to the full superstructure with precision and care. Our experienced team ensures each stage is carried out to specification, maintaining structural integrity, accuracy, and consistency throughout the build. By managing the blockwork from the ground up, we deliver a reliable framework that supports subsequent trades and contributes to the overall quality and longevity of the project

As main contractor on smaller projects, Select MS Ltd oversees all trades and works, coordinating each stage to ensure a smooth and efficient delivery. As an all-trades contractor, Select MS Ltd provides a true one-stop solution for building, renovation requirements.
